London Engagement Shoot – as a London & Sussex wedding photographer, I often do pre-wedding or Engagement shoots with the couples whose weddings I’m lucky enough to be shooting. I love these sessions as they provide a great opportunity to get to know my clients a bit better and to get connected with them. Whilst I do sometimes photograph weddings for clients I’ve not actually met before the wedding day itself, usually for reasons of practicality or where the client isn’t local, its always my preference to meet wherever possible. On this occasion, it was the turn of Lisa & Duncan whose wedding I’m shooting this weekend at Winchester’s impressive Guildhall, followed by the wedding reception in tipi’s, literally in a big field in Hampshire. Lisa & Ducan were referred to me by a friend who’s also a photographer, but shoots gigs. After booking me last summer this left them time to relax knowing they’d booked in all the key suppliers they’d wanted. Lisa & Duncan have been super organised and such a lovely couple to photograph. Their pre-wedding shoot was in Crystal Palace Park, which regulars will know is one of my favourite locations for this kind of shoot.
