I love doing pre-wedding or engagement shoots, love or connection shoots! There. It’s out there!
When you’re spending a whole day with a couple, one of the most important days of their lives, it’s so important that you all like each another, really connect and can trust each other. Don’t you think! For me, its a great opportunity to see how the couple interact, get to know them, connect, find out a little about their story, about them as people, what they love and hate, how they met and what’s important to them particularly on their wedding day.
What kind of day do you have planned?
Some dream of a big wedding with all the trimmings, others want a low-key small family celebration, whilst others have a more pragmatic approach about how and what…. as well as every other kind of celebration in-between. And it helps to understand some of that and for me, connecting with my couples is key.
So for me, for now, I’ll keep doing these sessions. Here are a few shots from Camilia & Mel’s Surrey pre-wedding shoot I did a few weeks ago. Everything’s set and they’re getting married tomorrow!!! Camila & Mel have been together for a long time but the romance was still alive and kicking. This pair couldn’t stop laughing….. Can’t wait to see you both tomorrow xx
