I had a great time on a London Engagement Shoot with Jessica & Anthony in and around Spitalfields in London’s east end a few weeks ago. To say it was a freezing cold day is an understatement! Within minutes of starting to shoot after looking around their amazing venue, Christ Church Spitalfields, it started to SNOW!! So we stopped for a much needed warm cuppa and piece of cake (of course!) from the bake sale outside the church, and then after warming up a bit, we carried on, braving the cold!!
Jess & Anthony were real troopers – we kept going despite the cold, warming ourselves up as we were shooting and had a fantastic time wandering around the Spitalfields side of the east end, discovering lots of nooks and crannies to shoot in. Anthony knew a lot about the history of this party of London so I was getting a bit of a history lesson as we went. If you’re ever looking for a great central urban backdrop for some photos or are keen on London history and just want to walk around this part of time, this is a really great place to visit, though I’d wait until it warms up a bit!!
I’m really looking forward to shooting Jessica & Anthony’s London wedding next weekend starting at Bethnal GreenTown Hall Hotel before heading back to Spitalfields on a traditional Routemaster London Bus! Love shooting on buses!!! Here are a few images from our shoot together.
