February’s Top 5 Wedding Instagram Photos
The first few months have skipped by and we’re now in March with spring just around the corner! Things are hotting up for a great year of weddings ahead of me throughout Sussex and further afield, and there’s lots of preparation going on behind the scenes. Without further ado, here are February’s most liked images I’ve posted throughout the month on Instagram. I always try and post a good selection of images from lots of different weddings I’ve shot, so you get a bird’s eye view of my work all in one place. My regular followers know my style is all about not posing and capturing wedding moments as they’re happening. February’s top 5 are no exception and are all unposed, natural, honest wedding images.
If you’re looking for a wedding photographer that likes to keep it real, won’t make you do silly things and will ensure you look your best in your wedding photos, do get in touch via my contact form here. Hope you enjoy them and see you next month!
Alison & Luke
This shot was taken during Alison & Luke’s wedding ceremony at Addington Palace in Surrey, a stunning old rambling house that was a former monastery. With a gorgeous back lit bright ceremony room, Alison & Luke are singing the words to ‘All you need is love’ by the Beatles of course! Moments like this may seem insignificant but they’re not and I’m all about documenting real moments from a wedding.
Alison & Stephen
This photo was from a spring wedding last year which started at Islington Town Hall for their wedding ceremony, before we all headed off on a big red bus towards Butler’s Wharf Pier. Everyone boarded a Thames tour boat which did a tour along the Thames, with drinks along the way, before docking and letting us disembark at the Design Museum BluePrint Cafe where Alison & Stephen were having their wedding reception. This shot was taken at Shad Thames, a stone’s throw from the Cafe. Real moments, as they happen!
Emma & Jacob
This shot was from Emma & Jacob’s Wiston House wedding and is the moment Emma put her veil on, just before I headed off to the Great Hall to capture some shots of Jacob nervously awaiting Emma’s arrival for their ceremony. Surrounded by all her bridesmaids, it’s a simple moment I know she’ll treasure.
Geraldine & Dany
Their wedding last Autumn at Brighton Royal Pavilion was a short and sweet affair, with just 2 witnesses and the registrar. After the ceremony, we headed off to the bandstand as it’s such an iconic feature along Brighton Seafront, they were keen to get some fresh air and have a few photos taken down on the beach. Here’s their full blog post if you fancy a peek!
Yasmin & Stuart
Hampton Court House is the scene for this fabulous summer wedding and here I’ve captured the moment at Yasmin & Stuart are exchanging rings and vows. You could hear a pin drop as they were making their promises to each other. It’s such a gorgeous venue and I love shooting wide shots that include clues and details of where things are happening. All part of a wedding day story. You can see their full gallery here.
That’s Feb’s round up. See you next month!
