Sussex Family Shoot – a few days before Christmas, I met up with Carla, David and their lovely munchkins Leo & Saskia for a family shoot in Stanmere Park in east Sussex. We’d met last October at one of the Stylish Events wedding fairs at the AMEX in Brighton where they’d won either a family or pre-wedding shoot with me. They opted to bring their kids with them for a more family style shoot and as often happens with these types of shoots, we never really know what’s going to happen or where we’ll end up!
Camera in hand, we wandered around the lovely grounds of Stanmere, stopped for coffee to warm up and then carried on for a bit more! I love shooting on sunny winter days where the sun is bright but low and the sky is blue. Great for shots of silhouettes and shadows and the lovely thing about crisp, cold days is they always invite you back into warm up afterwards so we made the most of the sunshine.
