Oksana & Ben | Bethnal Green Town Hall Hotel, London
This lovely autumn wedding was in a boutique hotel in the east end of London. Thinking back to their day brings a big smile to my face. The easy nature of these two, both Ben & Oksana were a joy to be around on their wedding day surrounded by just their closest friends and family from all over the world. Oksana was nervous, more nervous than even she thought she’d be, but getting ready in a room with so many people soon calmed her. As they both got ready at the hotel, I was able to see them both before the ceremony in the impressive council chamber. It was so clear how strong a connection these two had, not just with each other, but with all their guests – they’d made a point of keeping it small, wanting an intimate feel to the day. This wedding was right up my street!
There were many emotions during the day, so much laughter and happiness and little gestures each had made for the other. I love capturing the key moments on a wedding day, but it’s brilliant when couples say ” we trust you to do your thing” and that’s what I did. It didn’t feel like a wedding, more like a coming together of friends to celebrate, share, eat, dance. I love the Town Hall Hotel and you’ll see it’s quite a unique little venue and worth considering if you’re looking for something a bit different but central. There’s so much I loved about this wedding. I’ll let the photos do the talking!
