March’s Top 5 Wedding Instagram Photos
Yay spring is finally here!! I’ve been busy shooting lots of short spring weddings across the south east starting in Lewes in January, then various London and Brighton weddings to get me warmed up and ready for the season ahead. Most spring weddings tend to be smaller, quieter affairs and somehow a bit more personal. If you’re in the throws of planning your wedding, whatever time of year it is, do get in touch as I’m still taking bookings for this year though most key summer dates are now booked. Bookings are coming in for 2018 so don’t miss out if you’re looking for natural, creative female documentary wedding photographer to cover your nuptials. I’m Sussex based but shoot all across London and the South East and further afield wherever my wheely bag takes me. And now, here’s March’s most liked top 5 instagrams from a mix of weddings – don’t miss outĀ FOLLOW ME ON INSTAGRAM
Tom & Elliot
Loved this summer wedding from last year. Two gorgeous grooms, one big country house, 2 ceremonies and one hell of a day of celebrations with all their nearest and dearest at Elmore Court in Gloucestershire. They wanted minimal involvement in the photography but wanted lots of creativity and great moments captured. As you can see this shot was from their morning preparations together. Rosie & Phil
I shot this wedding a few weeks ago at Islington Town Hall on a quiet Friday afternoon. It’s a very popular north London registry office, always jam packed with weddings over the summer months. It’s so close to the city and loads of great venues to carry on the celebrations. With some smaller weddings I shoot there, it’s often better to arrange for photos with the couple before the ceremony, as in this case. Rosie & Phil and their 5 guests were all going out for lunch so after champagne on the steps, they headed off to celebrate!
Sarah & Matt
This winter wedding was at Oatlands Park Hotel in Surrey and was a favourite place for Sarah growing up. Her grandma, who lived in Europe, used to stay at the hotel when she visited and Sarah told me about the lovely memories she had running up and down the corridors of the hotel as a child. Now a mum of two herself, she’d not only managed to arrange a wedding with her hands full, she even designed and made her wedding dress with her friend. A seriously talented gal!
Orin & Stuart
Their autumn wedding was held at Park House Horsham Registry office. These two lovelies met whist working in Israel and they decided to come back to Stuart’s home town to get married. Surrounded by friends and family, they said their I do’s and headed off into the sunset. Ah love!
Vicki & Sunny
Back to Brighton’s Royal Pavilion for this shot – I shoot a lot at the Pavilion and you can see more weddings if you head over to my blog. This was a December wedding and set in the stunning Music Room, THE most ornate, elegant and stunning room you’ve ever seen! As it was raining, Vicki & Sunny kept dry under the arches of the Red Drawing Room entrance whilst I braved it!
