In my last post I blogged Daisy and Andrew’s morning London wedding which started at the beautiful chapel of the Little Oratory in Chelsea a stone’s throw from the V & A museum. It was a very elegant and intimate family affair with the ceremony in the chapel and morning tea reception in St Wilfred’s Hall upstairs with their families, lots of close family friends, and little people running around enjoying themselves – click here if you missed part 1. As a London Wedding Photographer I’ve been so busy shooting May’s weddings in many nice locations across London, I haven’t yet had the chance to blog part 2 of their evening wedding reception held at Brooks’s Club St. James’s, one of London’s oldest Gentlemen’s clubs, and what a venue it was! Set in historic St. James’s, off Piccadilly in central London, Brooks’s Club St James’s was the setting for the second half of Daisy and Andrew’s wedding day celebrations. The beautiful neoclassical interiors were a perfectly elegant space to hold Daisy & Andrew’s intimate wedding dinner.
Their evening dinner was a black tie event held in an oasis of calm, elegance and tranquility – guests were welcomed into the club with beautifully prepared nibbles and flowing champagne in the Library before formal dinner under sparkling chandeliers in one of the beautifully set formal dinning rooms – it was such an amazing evening and Brooks’s staff were so welcoming and thoughtful. After a very relaxed dinner and speeches, the live jazz band kicked off with some amazing numbers and Daisy & Andrew’s guests danced the night away clearly enjoying the celebrations. What a fabulous day that was – many congratulations again to the very lovely Daisy & Andrew. Thank you for choosing me to capture your wedding day celebrations and may I wish you all the very best for your future happiness together.
