Horsham Drawing Room Wedding – in October Stewart & Oren came back to Horsham, Stewart’s home town for their small and intimate wedding in the beautiful Georgian Drawing Room at Park House. Having met and now living and working in Israel, they’d made quite short notice plans for their autumn wedding and I’d been booked just 4 weeks before. With just a handful of friends and three generation of Stewart’s family present, we gathered at Park House early one October morning awaiting Stewart & Oren’s arrival. They finally swept in and after lots of welcome hugs and kisses all round, made their way into meet the Registrars before their civil ceremony.
As well as close family, their best friends were there to witness the ceremony, bear rings and to share their happy day. Stewart & Oren walked in, hand in hand and their ceremony brought a few laughs, a few tears and lots of smiles as they said their vows. And then they were married. We all headed outside into the gardens surrounding Park House and took lots of family photos, something they were really keen on. Family shots done, their guests headed off to their venue for a celebratory lunch and I then had time to do some shots with just the two of them.
Stewart had lots of memories of the area and recounted a few of his teenage ‘adventures’ shall we call them, whilst we were shooting…. both of them had such wicked senses of humour and teased each other relentlessly, it was so sweet!!! Lovely small intimate wedding. Lovely family. Lovely couple. Check! Stewart & Oren – bucket loads of love and much happiness to both of you and here’s to a long and happy life together.
