Cowdray Walled Garden Wedding

Cowdray Walled Garden Wedding

I shot this wedding with fellow photographer Irene Yap helping her to cover the groom’s preparations at the Goodwood hotel nearby to Cowdray on a beautiful summers day in July. The guys were in high spirits helping Joe get wedding ready, and in no time headed off to Cowdray to do their pre wedding tasks. Cowdray Walled Garden is an absolutely stunning Sussex wedding venue and everything was blooming that day – just look at the lovely gardens below. The wedding breakfast room was all set up with beautiful peonies everywhere and staff were busy with their preparations. Guests started arriving and were being greeted by Joe and his groomsmen, when the clouds started rolling in and it seemed to be touch and go whether the ceremony would be outdoors. But the sun continued to shine and the couple got their wish for an outdoors ceremony in the gorgeous gardens.

Outdoor Ceremony in the Walled Garden

Connie made her big entrance across the lawns with her Father to the top of the garden where Joe was waiting, looking absolutely stunning with pink peonies in her hair and bouquet. After their personal vows, readings and a few tears, they were married. Then the confetti run before heading indoors with all the guests as the heavens opened! I’d love to hear from you if you’re planning on having your wedding in the Walled Garden or any of the Cowdray Estate wedding venues. I travel a lot with my weddings across the UK and if you like my style of work, I’d love to be considered for your wedding whichever corner of the UK it is.  Get in touch by completing my contact form here or give me a call on 07956419207.
