Best Wedding Photographer – Regional Finalist 2015

Best Wedding Photographer – Regional Finalist London & South East 2015.  The Wedding Industry Awards take place every year, raising standards and recognising and rewarding excellence in the industry for all key wedding industry suppliers from hair and MUA’s to florists, caterers, even DJ’s and of course, wedding photographers.  The awards event for the London & South East Region was held last week at Farnham Castle and even though I didn’t win, I’m still happy! Let me explain…

I’m not big on competitions, but this year I was totally thrilled to have been shortlisted as a Regional Finalist in TWIA. The great thing about it all is that my clients were absolutely central to the process – they voted for me, they commented on why they chose me, my work and how I do what I do.  TWIA Judges look at your body of work as well as what your previous clients have to say – its not a removed process judged by industry experts sitting on a panel but based heavily on actual bride & groom feedback.

Client comments and scores are anonymous and I didn’t get to see them until after the ceremony. Needless to say, even though I didn’t win, I was overwhelmed with their kind words and really chuffed to receive such amazing feedback directly from my clients who took the time to vote for me. My wedding photography is all about the couples I work with, giving them a very personal service with lots of attention to detail, and providing them with a set of beautiful, natural and creative images they love. Getting these amazing comments makes what I do even more worthwhile.
