Hands up! I’ve not done a ‘Best Of’ round up for a few years but it’s been another incredible year for me, and it’s great to look backwards before looking forwards to what the new year will bring. I’ve had the privilege of working with so many great people again in 2019 – couples, venues, planners, wedding suppliers, and other photographers. I’ve shot 35 weddings & events in venues all across the south east and London, and met so many fabulous people along the way. Each and every wedding has been so totally different and I have to thank all the amazing couples I’ve worked with this year – for putting your trust in me and for letting me create memories for you and for me!
I’ve shot on rainy days, sunny days, stormy days, even gale force days, throughout the year from spring to winter – I’m always prepared!! And I’ve been keeping busy shooting at so many fab venues including Hampton Court House, St Pancras Renaissance Hotel, Capron House Cowdray Estate, The Asylum Chapel, AMP studios, Queen’s House Greenwich, Brighton Royal Pavilion, Itchenor Sailing Club, Brighton Music Hall, Orangery Holland Park, River Cafe, Hawksmoor Guildhall, The Ivy London, The Ivy Brighton, Wotton House, The White Horse Chilgrove, Cissbury Barns, Hannah Peschar Sculputure Garden, and lots of private estates for some stunning home made weddings. The constant changing scenery and variety is what keeps me loving what I do, knowing every wedding is always so different, every couple are super special and there are magic moments to be had with them all. I’ve had couples from all walks in life this year, from vicars to authors, film makers to surgeons, 2019 has been a brilliant year and I’ve really enjoyed getting to know you and working with you all. Huge thanks to you all.
I’ve had some pretty big weddings too this year and have worked more with second photographers in 2019 than ever before – huge thanks go out to Adam de Ste Croix, Kerry James, Soven Amatya & Ash Springle, who’ve been amazing to work with again this year and thanks for all your incredible support. Thanks to all those fabulous suppliers whose paths I’ve crossed this year and who’ve made each and every wedding look amazing, and to the unsung heroes – staff at all the wedding venues who work tirelessly to make it all happen! I’ll see some of you again in 2020!
2020 is shaping up to be another exciting year for me with loads of lovely weddings booked at lots of fab places – some old faves, some new – and I can’t wait to get going with things in the spring and get those creative juices flowing. I’m pretty booked up for 2020 already but still have some dates available so if you’re still looking for a wedding photographer, get in touch. I really do have a fancy camera bag and am happy to travel anywhere!
