Orchardleigh House pre wedding shoot – I met Zoe & Phil earlier this spring when they booked me for their wedding at Orchardleigh House next June. They’re both south coasters but decided to find a wedding venue totally out of their region so that family and friends could have a proper weekend away celebrating their wedding with them, so they choose the stunning Orchardleigh House and Estate in Somerset. As I’ve a few Somerset weddings booked in next year, I was keen to visit and take a look around, something I try to do if it’s possible, and I met up with Zoe and Phil for a pre wedding shoot back in August.
It’s no secret, I love big country houses and love being booked for weddings further afield. This venue near Bath, is a stunning blend of Elizabethan and French styles and offers an incredible mix of parkland, formal gardens, lakes, stunning countryside views as well as woodland. It’s got it all. We did a lot of wandering around and exploring the grounds for a few hours, chatting about life, the wedding, kids, life in general whilst taking a peek into the very pretty little church on the estate where Zoe & Phil will get married, as well as taking a look around the vast house itself. It’s an incredible place and it sounds like they have a really wonderful wedding weekend in the planning. I regularly shoot weddings away from Sussex so don’t be shy – if you like my work and want to book me for your wedding somewhere in the UK or abroad, get in touch via my contact page. Here are a few photos from our shoot.
Stunning pictures:)
Thank you Gemma.
